Krakow- a city with a soul

I always love returning to magical Krakow 😍This is where my student adventure began and where great memories come back to my mind.

I have already mentioned several times that for me, Krakow is a city with a soul and I think that many people will agree with me 🙂

It is wonderful to walk around the bustling market and surroundings. The beautiful architecture combining medieval, renaissance, baroque and gothic styles is a feast for the eyes. It is no wonder that the old city of Krakow is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. What impresses me in particular about Krakow is its authenticity and noble character.

Last weekend I acted like a real tourist and rediscovered the city during a carriage ride 😊 And you know what? I felt for a moment as if I had travelled back in time. It was wonderful to be able to follow the royal trail along Grodzka Street towards Wawel castle. Returning to the main square which is one of the largest in Europe -of course I could not skip the stalls offering traditional Polish delicacies. Oh, trust me; this is the perfect place for gourmands! After having tasted the local goodies, it was nice to sit in one of the cafes overlooking the main square.

Of course, Krakow has many other beautiful places to see. But more about that next time…

So maybe you will go to Krakow for a weekend? 🙂 In the meantime, enjoy the photos.
